I can remember when I was little, Dad had a collapsible Polaroid Black & White instant camera. We would all be amazed as the images developed and came to life right before our eyes. Dad eventually stepped up to a 35mm Pentax Spotomatic, with a series of different lenses. Right from when I was young, I had some sort of camera, and an interest in photography. Fast forward to around the new Millennium, the year 2000, and my interest in photography started to become an obsession. I purchased my first digital SLR camera the Canon 350D. I then joined the Pakenham Camera Club, where I started to enter photography competitions, participated in photography outings, which lead to my real love, in photographing people. This developed in to portrait and then wedding photography. My wife has always been very supportive and encouraged me to follow my dreams. When I started to shoot weddings, we took out a personal loan, and instead of getting my wife a desperately needed new car, we invested it in photography equipment. From the year 2009 Mark Teague Photography was born. Hundreds of weddings later, and needing to find myself again as a photographer, you can see that my photography interests are now becoming more diverse.
I am a father of two awesome kids, Bianca, Lachlan, and a super wife Rebecca. Our dog Teddy is picture instead of me, because let's face it, he is cute.
